Rescue Run 2019

What is the Rescue Run?

On March 30th, 2019 FirstNLR will host the first annual Rescue Run. Rescue Run is a collaborative event to raise awareness about human trafficking.

Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others.  It is one of the fastest growing criminal industries in the world.  Our community and those around us are affected by sex trafficking.

The average age a child becomes a victim of sex trafficking in the United States is 12-14 years old.  Facts like these are not glamorous, and often not talked about.

With this 5K, we want to come together as a community, voice these issues, and run and walk for the people who cannot.
